Terms of service
These terms apply when you use this website or order a website demo or full website from Veryeo ("we", "us"). By placing an order, you agree to them.
1. Services
Website demo: a custom homepage design for your business, delivered by email as a private preview link. We aim to deliver as soon as possible, and no later than 7 days after your order. The demo is a preview only: it is not a finished or launched website, and it is not licensed for public use unless you buy the full website.
Demo credit: if you buy the full website after ordering a demo, your $9 demo fee comes off the price. Enter the code from your demo receipt email at checkout. One use per customer; it can't be exchanged for cash.
Full website: a custom website with up to 5 pages, built to work on phones and computers, with 2 rounds of revisions, basic SEO setup (page titles, descriptions and a sitemap), and launch on your own domain. The full website includes the hosting & care plan described in section 6a. Extra pages, online stores with payments, ongoing updates and other features are not included unless we agree in writing (email counts), and may be quoted separately.
2. Timeline
We start as soon as possible and share an expected delivery date by email once we have the content we need from you (such as text, logo and photos). We will deliver the full website no later than 30 days after receiving that content. Time spent waiting on your content or feedback doesn't count toward that limit. If you don't respond to us for 30 days, we may treat the project as complete.
3. Your content
You confirm that you own or have permission to use everything you send us (text, logos, photos, brand names), and that your website and business are legal. You are responsible for the accuracy of your content and for any claims, prices and policies on your site. We may refuse or stop work on projects that are illegal, deceptive, hateful, or infringe others' rights, and will refund you for work not delivered.
4. Revisions and approval
The full website includes 2 rounds of revisions. A round is one set of changes sent together. Your project is complete when you approve it, ask us to launch it, or use all included revisions.
5. Ownership
Once the full website is paid in full, you own the finished site design and the content you gave us. Demos remain ours unless you buy the full website. We keep the right to reuse our general code, tools and know-how, and to show your public website in our portfolio unless you ask us not to.
6. Hosting, domains and third parties
Your website is hosted by us as part of the hosting & care plan below. If you already own a domain, we can connect it instead of registering a new one. Paid third-party services you choose (such as email or payment processor fees) are your cost and are governed by those providers' terms. We are not responsible for outages or changes by third-party providers.
6a. Hosting & care plan (included with every full website)
- Required with the full website: every full website is sold as a $299 setup fee plus the hosting & care plan. You agree to the monthly plan before you pay. The demo does not include or require it.
- Price and billing: $30 per month, charged on the day you order and then every month on the same date, until you cancel. Prices are in US dollars. Applicable taxes, if any, are added.
- Included: one standard domain name (such as .com or .net; premium or specialty domains are excluded), registered and renewed for you; hosting for your website; small edits of up to 30 minutes per month (such as text, prices, hours or photos; unused time doesn't roll over); email support for questions about your website, with replies within 2 business days; and fixing problems with the site we built. Phone or video calls, edits beyond 30 minutes a month, new pages, redesigns and new features are not included and may be quoted separately.
- Your domain is yours: we register your domain in your name or transfer it to you at no charge when you ask. If you cancel, we'll transfer the domain to you and give you your website files on request.
- Cancel anytime: cancel online at billing.stripe.com (enter the email you paid with), or email us. Your plan stays active until the end of the month you've paid for, and no further charges are made. Monthly fees already paid are not refundable, except where required by law.
- After you cancel: we stop hosting your site and renewing your domain at the end of your last paid month. You still own the website you paid for: we'll give you your website files and transfer your domain to you on request, so you can host it anywhere.
- Price changes: we'll email you at least 30 days before any price change. You can cancel before it takes effect.
- Failed payments: if a monthly payment fails and isn't fixed within 14 days, we may pause the plan.
7. Payments and refunds
Prices are in US dollars and are paid upfront through Stripe. Refunds follow our refund policy, which is part of these terms.
8. Sample designs
Sample homepages shown on this site are design examples for fictional businesses. They show our style and are not real customers or results.
9. No guarantees of results
We build your website with care, but we don't guarantee search engine rankings, traffic, sales or other business results.
10. Warranty disclaimer
Except as stated in these terms and our refund policy, and to the fullest extent allowed by law, our services are provided "as is" without additional warranties. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under applicable consumer protection laws.
11. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, our total liability for any claim related to our services is limited to the amount you paid us for the order in question. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, such as lost profits or data.
12. Changes
We may update these terms. The version on this page when you place your order applies to that order.
